Stephen Edwards became a Partner of the firm in 1984 and heads up our Criminal Law Department. Stephen is a Higher Criminal Courts Advocate who specialises in serious and high profile criminal cases in the Crown Court and Court of Appeal. His case load includes serious and complex fraud, supply and importation of drugs, murder and rape.
Stephen was admitted as a solicitor in 1982 after graduating from University of Wales, Aberystwyth, and serving Articles with GHP Legal, known at that time as Gwilym Hughes & Partners. He is a Member of the North Wales Regional Duty Solicitor Committee and a Trustee of Central Hall Trust in Wrexham, a charity which assists families with substance abuse problems.
A keen sportsman who still plays football and tennis, Stephen is married with three daughters. He enjoys cycling and mountaineering and lists music and travel among his leisure interests.
