Event is a glittering success

A fashion and beauty event staged at the Plas Hafod Country House Hotel in Mold on November 20th was hailed a glittering success after it raised £1,653.74 for Nightingale House Hospice. 

"All that Sparkles" featured a fashion show with stalls, beauty advice and vocal entertainment. The £27 tickets, which sold out two weeks before the event, included a Champagne reception with canapés followed by a 2-course meal.

The event was organised by Dawn Seaburg and Barbara Nichols, two members of the Accounts Department of leading Oswestry and North Wales law firm GHP Legal who sponsored the event.

Group Practice Manager, Nicola Thomas, said: “GHP Legal is a long time supporter of Nightingale House. Pam Whitley, one of our Partners, has been a Trustee of the Charity since 1991 and was Chair of the Board of Trustees from 2002 to 2005.   The ‘All that Sparkles’ Event was hugely successful and it is all down to Dawn and Barbara who worked tirelessly to organise the whole evening. They deserve a huge pat on the back.”
