John Marshall B.A
Based at our Wrexham office John Marshall is a Senior Solicitor who specialises in private client work, primarily in non-contentious areas of law, with particular emphasis on dealing with Wills, Probate and Taxation and Powers of Attorney on behalf of high net worth clients.
Born in Wrexham, John attended Darland High School and Yale College before going on to read history at Manchester University from where he graduated in 1995. After two years of travelling, John returned to study at Chester College of Law where he gained his Diploma in Law and Legal Practice Certificate before taking up a two year training contract with Cooper Sons Hartley & Williams in Manchester.
In 2000 John moved to Bartlett & Son in Chester where he remained until he joined Oliver & Co in Chester in 2003. Returning to his Wrexham roots, he started work with GH&P at the beginning of 2007. In his leisure time John enjoys a wide variety of hobbies and interests which include history, travel, walking, eating out, painting, reading and playing squash.
